This is the biggest piece of horse crap i've heard out of blacksburg in a while.
the gist: 75 fiberglass hokie bird statues will be decorated by 'artists' and strewn like so much garbage all over town.
you gotta love comments like: "It creates a great deal of enthusiasm in the town for arts in general," Blacksburg spokeswoman Heather Browning said.
"It is going to be good, quality art as well as something interesting to the community," Janet Johnson said.
Janet Johnson and Heather Browning, you are nincompoops. Your idiotic scheme to promote the 'arts' does nothing but make me vomit over what is considered "good, quality art." Thank you for systematically lowering Blacksburg to the level of elegance of a lawn jockey or a pink flamingo yard ornament. You make me sick.
There will be vandalism. Oh yes there will be.
